English teaching jobs in Jeju

Jeju is a small, distinct market. Regular academy openings on the island are sporadic — a handful at a time, mostly elementary-focused — and the international schools of the Global Education City hire on their own cycles with their own credential requirements, usually through their own channels rather than job boards. A thin page here is the normal state.

The draw is obvious: island life, mild winters, the outdoors. The trade-offs are real too — one city (Jeju City) plus Seogwipo, a car-helpful geography, and flights to the mainland for everything the island doesn't have. Housing offers on listings deserve extra scrutiny here since rental patterns differ from the mainland (key-money customs vary; ask exactly what the school provides).
