SAT, ACT and AP work sits at the demanding end of the academy market: US-curriculum academies and international-school preparation programs teaching students aiming at American universities. It clusters in a small number of districts — the established education neighbourhoods of Seoul, the international-school areas, and the planned education districts — rather than spreading across the country, so location options are narrower than for most teaching here.
Employers usually ask for more than English. AP subjects mean subject knowledge, SAT and ACT mean the maths and reading sections as well as writing, and a relevant degree or teaching credential is asked for more often here than elsewhere on the board.
