Post an English teaching job in Korea
Schools, hagwons and recruiters post English teaching jobs on LucyESL, a job board for English teachers in South Korea. Posting is free until November 1, 2026; after that, a school hiring directly keeps one live listing free. Teachers apply for free, and LucyESL takes no fee per hire.

The account and posting forms are in Korean. To post in English instead, send the advert by email (below).
Who can post?
A hagwon, school or university hiring for itself, a public-school programme, and recruiters and staffing companies, each labelled as what it is. Every organisation is verified before its first listing goes up: its Korean business registration (사업자등록증) and an authorized contact, checked by hand. A recruiter also sends its job-placement registration (직업소개사업 등록증). Verification is free, the badge is never sold, and an organisation that passes gets 7 days of Featured.
What does it cost?
Every listing is free until November 1, 2026, and a listing posted before then stays free for all of its 45 days. From November 1, 2026:
| Item | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Free listing | A school hiring directly: one at a time per organisation, 45 days, renewal free | Free |
| 1 listing | Another listing, or a recruiter's, 45 days | ₩55,000 |
| 5 listings | Used one at a time within a year, 45 days each | ₩165,000 |
| Featured, 7 days | One live listing, the free one included, at the top of the board | ₩22,000 |
| Featured, 30 days | One live listing, the free one included, at the top of the board | ₩55,000 |
Prices include VAT. There is no subscription and no fee per application or per hire. Payment is by bank transfer, with a Korean tax invoice (세금계산서).
How soon does a listing go up?
The first listing is reviewed with the verification documents, usually within 24 hours. After that, a verified school's listings go up at once and are reviewed afterwards; a recruiter's are reviewed every time.
How do applications reach me?
Teachers apply on the listing, and you are emailed when an application arrives. On your dashboard each one carries a line of what the teacher chose to send: whether they are in Korea or abroad, when they could start, their visa. You choose a reply in Korean, asking for more information, inviting them to an interview at the times you offer, or making an offer, and it reaches the teacher in English.
Where does a listing appear?
On the board, listings from verified organisations sit above listings copied from other job boards, whether free or paid, and Featured listings sit above both, taking turns every hour. A teacher whose saved search matches a listing is sent it in the next daily alert, where listings posted on LucyESL come first. Assistants can read LucyESL directly: the live board as JSON, any page as Markdown at its own address, and an MCP server that ChatGPT and Claude can connect to, with no key.
Can LucyESL post it for me?
Yes. Send the advert, in Korean or English, to hello@lucyesl.com, and LucyESL posts it as an English advert. The organisation is still verified first.
